General Information

Shaktikhor Waterfall is a stunning natural beauty that can be seen in the town of Shaktikhor in the Chitwan District of southern Nepal. Both local and foreign visitors to Chitwan National Park enjoy stopping at this waterfall, also known as Shaktikhor Jharana in Nepali.

The waterfall is thought of as an undiscovered jewel that hasn’t yet gained the kind of fame it deserves. The waterfall is surrounded by lush flora and offers visitors a serene and inviting environment.

You can take a taxi or a bus from Bharatpur, the largest city in Chitwan, to get to Shaktikhor Waterfall. The trip takes around an hour to complete. You can also go by renting a car or a motorcycle.

Once you reach Shaktikhor, you may easily walk to the waterfall. The short trip to the waterfall takes 20 to 30 minutes. During trekking, you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the sounds of nature.
