Namje Village at 1585 m, is dominated by Magar people situated in Bhedetar VDC, Dhankuta District in Eastern Nepal. This name translates eaten yam (Tarul Khayo) in Magar language. Geographically there are terraced fields, surrounding wooded hills, 30 households, including 19 houses for the homestay (daily 80 people capacity), changing-weather approximate 5 times a day with a view of fifth-tallest peak Mt. Makalu (8463 m.), and picturesque villages.

Namje Village can approach by Kathmandu-Biratnagar flight, then 57 km road to Bhedetar Bazar (1420 m). A bus trip from Kathmandu to Bhedetar (422 km, via Dakshinkali-Hetauda road) will be long. Terai people, especially from Jhapa, Morang, and Sunsari district spend their holiday in this cool village. Dada Bazar dominated by Limbu people and other communities nearby this village. There is Narayan temple (14th century), tea shop, and government office. Dhoje Dada at 2133 m is the viewpoint of sunrise, sunset, snow-capped mountain, green hills, and river valleys. There are a cave and 400 years Banyan tree that covers 13 Ropani lands. Dhankuta Bazar, Raja Rani Lake, and 100 meters Namaste waterfall (4 km away from Bhedetar) are not so far from this village.
