Nepal’s majestic peaks and trekking trails are world-famous, but the true stories of these adventures are best told by those who live them every day—our mountain guides, leaders, and trekking professionals.
In an exciting new initiative to promote Nepalese tourism globally while empowering our frontline adventure professionals, a specialized Content Creation Training program has been announced. This initiative is jointly organized by the Sustainable Tourism Project (STP)—co-funded by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)—in close collaboration with the Mountain Guide Association of Nepal (MoGAN).
The primary objective of this training is to enhance the digital skills of mountain professionals, making them self-reliant, digitally skilled, and commercially competitive, while directly contributing to the digital promotion of Nepal’s tourism sector.
Why This Training Matters
As the travel industry shifts heavily toward digital platforms, travelers rely on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to choose their next trekking destinations. By training mountain guides to become high-quality content creators, this program turns our adventure experts into digital ambassadors for Nepal. Whether it is scripting a compelling story, shooting cinematic mountain videos, or managing social media growth, this course provides practical, real-world skills.
