Big news for Nepal Tourism enthusiasts.. Nepal make itself to the World’s top 100 Club’s list. Yes you heard it right, Lord of The Drinks (LOD) in Kathmansu Nepal secured 52nd position on the World’s Top 100 Clubs ranking by DjMag. With some delays because of COVID19 restrictions, Top 100 Clubs list was published on June 28 though the selection and voting typically runs from December-April.
LOD, always being the favourite club among Nepalese including our ex-King Gyanandra Bir Bikram Shah as well as to guests from different countries, is successful in entering the list this year as only new entrant from Asia Region. China alone loses five clubs in the list this year as compared to previous year. There’re altogether seven clubs in the list from China this year which is considered as tourism hotspot for luxury travelers.
Accordong to DjMag.com, Top 100 Clubs is a celebration of the world’s definitive dancefloors, ranked entirely by votes from DJ Mag’s global audience. More than 600,000 verified votes were counted in this year’s poll.
Along with this remarkable achievement, LOD’s officially released a message on their Facebook wall:

Hï Ibiza from Eivissa, Spain has been voted as the World’s No.1 Club in this year’s Top 100 Clubs poll which was in third position previously.
With this historic recognition to a club from Kathmandu, there’s no any doubt that it’s going to add great value to Nepal’s tourism ecosystem. Many congratulations to all of us and entire LOD team for this remarkable achievement.
