In Bimalnagar, Tanahu District, Nepal, there is a magnificent cave called Siddha Cave, also called Siddha Gufa. With an area that can hold up to 2500 people and a length of around 0.5 kilometers, it is the largest cave in Nepal and the second-largest cave in South Asia.

Siddha Cave is well-known for its breathtaking natural beauty and stupendous size. Beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, and other natural formations that have been produced over thousands of years may be found in the cave. The cave’s unique ecosystem is further enhanced by the presence of numerous kinds of bats.

ATTRACTIONS

Siddha Cave exploration is an exciting adventure that takes you through Nepal’s natural treasures. You can go by car on the Prithvi Highway, which will take you from Kathmandu to Bimalnagar in about 4 hours, to get to the cave. To get to the cave from there, it takes around 1.5 hours of stair-climbing over hills.

You will be in awe of the cave’s vastness and splendor once you get there. Because of the cave’s ample lighting, it is simpler to explore all of its chambers and passageways. Inside the cave, there are a number of streams and waterfalls that add to its allure.

HOW TO GET THERE

To get to Siddha Cave, you can take a vehicle from Kathmandu on Prithvi Highway, which will take around 4 hours to reach Bimalnagar. From there, you have to walk up hills on steps for around 1.5 hours to reach the cave. The journey can be challenging, but it is well worth the effort.
