Listing Description

In the Tanahu area of western Nepal, there is a hill town called Manung Kot that is breathtakingly lovely. This well-liked vacation spot is located close to Damauli Bazar, 43 kilometres from the Pokhara valley, and 150 km from Kathmandu, the nation’s capital. Manung Kot is located around 1000 meters above sea level and gives a panoramic view of the hills and mountains in the area.

Because to the amazing dawn and sunset films with breathtaking views of the hills and mountains, the hill station became well-known on social media sites like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter. Visitors may see the fog and clouds every morning from the summit, which gives them the impression that they are floating above the gleaming white and golden clouds.

Manung Kot can only be reached after first arriving at Damauli Bazar, the Tanahu District’s main and most accessible city by road. Manung Kot is roughly a 10-kilometer drive from there, and it takes 2 to 3 hours to get to the top. Guests have the option of using a private bike or scooter or using public transportation.

Visitors can take in a panoramic view of the nearby green hills, plains, and mountains once they reach the summit. From the hill town, one can observe many mountain ranges, including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Lamjung, Maachhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna, and Himchuli. Together with the stunning Damauli Bazaar, visitors may also witness the Seti and Maadi rivers, as well as the homes of the Magar community.

Visitors can extend their vacation to other well-known locations including Bandipur village, Pokhara valley, and Kushma bungee jumping place in addition to taking in the breathtaking vistas.

People from all over the world are traveling to various locations to sate their wanderlust, whether they are doing it to get away from the daily grind, see new cultures, or seek adventure. It’s crucial to value and promote local tourism in this era of globalization. With its varied landscapes, rich culture, and welcoming people, Nepal is a top choice for travelers looking for both adventure and relaxation. Manung Kot in Tanahu is only one of many places in Nepal that may offer an amazing experience, with its breath-taking views. In addition to boosting the economy and generating jobs, we can protect the natural and cultural history of these places for future generations to enjoy by promoting and supporting local tourism.
