Listing Description

Srikot is a lovely village development committee situated in western Nepal’s Mahakali Zone’s Baitadi district. It has a lengthy history that goes back to the beginning of time. The community is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty and is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas. The village is reachable by car, and Srikot is on the route from Dhangadi to Gokule. Although Srikot is a transit hub for all the other tiny communities, the roads in Baitadi are treacherous. The village is home to a modest market that acts as the neighborhood’s commercial hub. Trucks bring goods to the bazaar, which sells a range of agricultural goods and other goods.

Due to its close proximity to numerous other well-liked tourist attractions, Srikot is a popular travel destination. The Khodpe Waterfall, which is only 5 kilometers from the settlement and a well-liked location for trekking and picnics, is one of the nearby attractions. The Shiva Temple, which is another well-liked site, is perched atop a hill and provides breathtaking views of the region. The Kedar Temple, Pancheshwor Mahadev Temple, and Kandevi Temple are some of the nearby attractions.

From Kathmandu, travelers can take a bus or a jeep to Srikot. The trip spans a distance of about 650 kilometers and takes around 14 hours. Due to the hilly terrain and deteriorating roads, the journey is rather difficult. Yet the drive is well worth it because of the breathtaking vistas of the Mountains and the surrounding landscape.

For everyone interested in experiencing Nepal’s natural beauty and rich culture, Nepal Tourism Hub recommends Srikot as a must-visit location. Those seeking to escape the rush of city life and immerse themselves in the Mountains’ natural beauty should visit the village because of its distinctive position and rich history.
