Listing Description

The village development committee known as Bhedetar, or Sheep’s Butte, is situated in Dhankuta District in the Koshi Zone of eastern Nepal. There are about 2,643 residents there, distributed across 513 homes. Bhedetar, which lies 1,420 meters above sea level, is well-known for its erratic weather. It marks the boundary between the districts of Sunsari and Dhankuta.

A little hill station called Bhedetar is located only 16 kilometers from the Dharan Sub-metropolis. It is a wonderful location for environment enthusiasts because it is surrounded by beautiful green forests and the powerful Himalayas. The village provides a breathtaking perspective of the hills, valleys, and forests around. It is renowned for having erratic weather; one moment it hides under a layer of dense fog, and the next it emerges as the crown of metropolitan Dharan.

Tourism Attractions in the Area:

Bhedetar is close to a number of interesting tourist destinations. The Dharan Bazaar, which is about 16 kilometers from Bhedetar, is one of the primary attractions. It is a well-liked retail location for both locals and tourists. The Koshi Tappu Nature Reserve, the Tinjure Milke Jaljale Ridge, and the Hile Bazar are among further nearby attractions.

Transportation:

Bhedetar may be easily accessed from Dharan Sub-metropolis, which is well connected by road and air. From Dharan to Bhedetar, private automobiles, taxis, and buses can be rented. Biratnagar, which is around 70 kilometers from Bhedetar, is home to the closest airport.

Travel from Kathmandu:

The best ways to get to Bhedetar from Kathmandu are by flight or by car. The closest airport to Bhedetar is Biratnagar, which has regular flights from Kathmandu. You can either take a bus or a taxi from there to get to Bhedetar. Bhedetar can be reached by car in around 11 hours from Kathmandu.

What you must do when visiting:

Nature lovers and adventure seekers should travel to Bhedetar. In the nearby hills and woodlands, guests can go hiking and camping. The town also offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. Birdwatching, shopping in regional markets, and touring adjacent nature reserves are other activities.
