The B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), popularly known as Ghopa Camp, is a hospital in the Nepalese city of Dharan. The institute was founded on January 18, 1993, and on October 28, 1998, it was elevated to become an autonomous health sciences university. The late B.P. Koirala, a former prime minister of Nepal, is honored by having the institute bear his name. BPKIHS is an excellent example of how India and Nepal work together.

Hospital Capacity: The BPKIHS Teaching Hospital has a capacity of 700 beds and offers healthcare services to the people of eastern Nepal. The hospital is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and equipment, as well as a staff of highly qualified medical specialists.
