GETTING THERE

An alternative is to fly to Biratnagar Airport, which is about 3 hours’ drive from Hile, and then take a local bus or cab to get there.

Local buses or shared jeeps can take passengers from Kakarbhitta or other eastern Nepalese cities to Hile. The trip lasts about 6-7 hours and gives stunning views of the surrounding area.
