The region is renowned for its peace, stunning scenery, and closeness to several well-known tourist attractions in Kathmandu.

The Newari ethnic group were the first settlers in the Kathmandu Valley, and Pasikot is still very much a part of their distinctive culture. Tourists can stroll through the tiny passageways and streets while taking in the elaborate carvings and patterns on the houses and temples.

The Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is a nearby site that is also very well-liked in Pasikot. The park, one of the biggest protected areas in Nepal, is home to a wide variety of flora and wildlife, including more than 300 kinds of birds, a number of different mammal species, and a number of rare and endangered species. At the park, visitors can go hiking or trekking and take in the breathtaking natural beauty of the surroundings.

There are various Buddhist temples and meditation centers in the vicinity of Pasikot. Pasikot is a fantastic vacation spot for foodies in addition to its natural and cultural features. The region is well-known for its authentic Newari food, which is distinguished by its distinctive flavors and utilization of regional products. Among the area’s many eateries and cafes, tourists can enjoy a range of regional specialties such momos, choila, and bara.
