Lomanthang (Nepali: लोमन्थाङ) is a rural municipality situated in Mustang District of Gandaki Province. Located at the northern end of the district, it borders Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north and Dalome Rural Municipality to the south. Lo is culturally and linguistically Tibetan, forming the northern two-thirds of Mustang, while the southern third is known as Thak, homeland of the Thakali people.
